The battle continues between Andre Ochs and Lex Hartl. Lex won the 125/clubman race on Sunday with Andre right behind him in 2nd place but Andre roared back with a 1st place finish in the Formula 2 expert class and Lex
came in 2nd. It’s the Ochs & Hartl show and it’s far from being over, these are two of the best 125cc riders in the country and if you’re lucky enough to see these two battle it out in person, be thankful because they have put on a great show in the first two races of the season. Other news from Vegas, Jason Aguilar strikes back at DeshanWitherspoon who beat him in the first race with his own first place finish in the Formula 80 class. It was close but Aguilar was on his game and took home his first win of the season. Next Moto Champion Hunter Coffin takes 2nd place on the podium in the Formula 2 novice class right behind Tucker Landcaster but infront of Victor Jube. After having the best 125cc “Mylaps” lap time during practice on Saturday heartbreak continued for Tyler Linders when his motor blew that afternoon. Sunday he played it safe on a borrowed bike and finished 7th. Linders is down but not out as he travels to Talladega, Alabama this week to race the WERA Southeast division. Will his streak of bike problems continue or will we get to see what he’s capable of?? In the Clubman Expert class Aquino came in 1st, Villasenor 2nd. D Superbike Expert saw Aquino on the top of the podium again, followed by Ochs, then Villasenor.
