It was cold and wet, 35 degrees and light rain to be exact but Palmer Kling didn’t care. When other riders in the field were cautious, Palmer “No Fear” Kling rode the wheels off his 2 stroke 85 to take 1st place in a great race. Palmer Kling and Jake Daugherty got off to a great start with Jake taking the lead and the 2 of them pulled away leaving the rest of the pack behind. Nigel Smith and Brad Boucher followed while Kyle Rarick, Caleb Smith, Kathryne Duke and Jonathan Boswell weren’t too far behind. After 3 laps of stalking, Palmer made a move on Jake and passed him to take the lead. Being on slicks didn’t bother Palmer one bit as he rode his 85 2 stroke to victory in wet, cold conditions. Nothing bothered Palmer, he was in the zone and rode an incredible race in horrible conditions. Next Moto Champion would like to salute our sponsored rider on his first win of the year, CONGRATULATIONS PALMER!!!!! The rest of the field finished with Jake Daughtery in 2nd, Nigel Smith in 3rd, Brad Boucher in 4th and Kyle Rarick rounding out the top 5. Best times were:
Palmer Kling 1:20.544
Jake Daugherty 1:18:86
Nigel Smith 1:22.87
Brad Boucher 1:22.81
Kyle Rarick 1:30.10
