Daughtery, Boucher and Kling take the Podium on Sunday’s WERA race

Jake Daughtery had another strong showing on Sunday when he got out in front and stayed there for the whole race. Brad Boucher’s bike stalled on the warm up lap but he was able to get it started just in time to show up for the 1 minute board which put him in 9th place on the grid when he was suppose to be on the 3rd row. The green flag was thrown and the crowd was able to see part 2 from Saturday’s race with Daughtery up front, Kling following and Boucher with a lot of work to do.

By lap 4 Boucher was able to work his way through the 9 rider pack and pass Kling to take 2nd with his sights set on Daughtery but only 2 laps left in the race and a hugh gap to make up. The last lap ended with Boucher on his rear tire and Daughtery running a mistake free race as he took the checkered flag. Kling came in 3rd with Nigel Smith 4th and Zachary Stevens rounding out the top 5. Best lap times for Sunday were:

Jake Daughtery 1:16:883

Brad Boucher 1:15:74

Palmer Kling 1:17.65

Nigel Smith 1:19.69

Zachary Stevens 1:21:96

Congrats also go out to Caleb Smith for his first WERA Race, nice job Caleb.
