Impact Safe-T Armor recently crash tested
This past weekend racer Brian Ens crashed his Honda RS125 at Portland International Raceway at over 100 MPH, closer to 120 MPH really. He had the unfortunate gift of flying bestowed on him at the apex of turn one as he was ejected from his fine steed.
After the nasty highside settled, he was happy to find that the ImpactArmor chest protector had absorbed the blow he received to the chest, no bruises or negative after effects to be found even now days later.
Unfortunately his off brand back protector didn’t quite handle the shot he received to his lower back. He has severe bruising to the lower back and is now up and hobbling around after the initial backboard trip to the ER.
He is already planning to get himself a custom fit ImpactArmor back protector to go with that custom chest protector.

Background Information
The purpose of the Alberta Mini RoadRacing Association (AMRA) is to provide an entry level introduction to two wheel Motorsports and maintain a high level of competition that will keep even the most advanced rider challenged while promoting a positive image of motorcycle racing in regards to safety, technique and attitude. Mini roadracing duplicates all the thrills of æbig bike racing’ without the high speeds, while maintaining the same dynamics by competing on smaller tracks. Without the inherent risks of larger bikes we are able to create a venue where our younger members can excel in head to head competition while being coached by our more experienced members.
The AMRA is a registered non profit organization incorporated in 2001. At that time this little club had been operating for 10+ years with a membership of 10-15 members. Under the tutelage of Jay Fox AMRA President the local club has grown from 15 members to a thriving community of over 70 racing members and 340 enthusiast members. Across Canada small clubs are uniting and gathering together to compete in the National Canadian Mini RoadRacing Series (CNMRA) to participate in this unparalleled head to head competition. Racers from 7 years old to teenagers to 66 years old, male and female alike all strive to be their best every time the green flag drops.
The AMRA has a solid foundation with a focus’ on safety, camaraderie and good sportsmanship: values which reflect our family oriented organization. We are thrilled to be a part of amateur sports which will further enhance the quality of life for all Albertans, while providing an opportunity to support the economic growth of our community.
The AMRA is pleased to be hosting Round #3 of the Canadian National Mini RoadRacing Series June 27- June 30, 2008, Varsity Speed Park Calgary Alberta
The Canadian National Mini RoadRacing Series is a 6 round National Series that is a competitive, high impact, entertaining series, creating an arena similar to that of the Parts Canada Canadian Superbike Series. Events are scheduled from April to September 2008.
The Canadian National Mini RoadRacing Association (CNMRA) is a nationally registered non profit amateur sport association. For more information on Mini RoadRacing and the AMRA events, news and developments, contact the person who contacted you with this information, ~http://www.amra.ca~ or Jay Fox President AMRA, CNMRA at your convenience.
